嘉宾简介:  吴志图博士(Dr Chi To Daniel Ng),为香港理工大学商学院副教授、博导,及物流研究中心主任。主要致力于物流与供应链管理、库存管理、调度与路径选择优化、医疗保健运营管理等方面的教学和研究工作。在Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Naval Research Logistics, Annals of Operations Research, Operations Research Letters , Journal of the Operational Research Society, Computers and Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control等国际顶级和权威期刊上发表论文100多篇。担任SCI/SSCI期刊International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics主编和Asia-Pacific Journal of Operational Research等期刊的副主编等职务。
 
内容简介:  We consider some allocation decision models for central and local governments to solve the medical supply allocation problem during large-scale epidemic outbreaks. In particular, the local decision problem is developed as a stochastic dynamic programming model based on the unique characteristics of epidemic diseases. We derive some properties of this problem, and obtain the general form of the optimal local allocation policy in each time period. In addition, a case study based on a real epidemic outbreak is described. The results provide some managerial implications for responding to epidemic outbreaks.
