From October 28th to 29th, 2023, the first China University Finance and Economics Courses Alliance Management Teaching Competition was successfully held in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), sponsored by China University Finance and Economics Courses Alliance and undertaken by the Academic Affairs Department and the School of Business Administration (SBA) of ZUEL. Qin Hong, Vice President of ZUEL, Peng Zhengyin, member of the Education Committee of the Ministry of Education for Teaching Business Administration, Zheng Wenquan, Dean of SBA of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Zhang Qiang, Dean of the School of Logistics and Management Engineering of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Cui Hongqiao, Dean of the School of Asia-Pacific Business Management, Jilin University of Finance and Economics, and Liu Zhenghua, Deputy Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of ZUEL. Hu Chuan, Vice Dean of SBA of ZUEL, attended the opening ceremony as a guest. Teachers from 30 finance and economics colleges and universities across China participated in the competition. The opening ceremony was hosted by Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA of ZUEL.
Vice President Qin Hong believes that this competition is of great significance to enhance the overall level of responsible management education construction in financial colleges and universities, and hopes that this competition can comprehensively improve the teaching ability and parenting level of teachers' responsible management education. Dean Wu Haitao said that this teaching competition is necessary for universities to establish moral education. Liu Zhenghua, Vice Minister of Academic Affairs, organized the participants and judges to draw lots and group, and finally selected 5 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 14 third prizes.
Hu Chuan, Vice Dean of SBA, presided over the closing ceremony, summarized the competition and read out the list of winners of the competition. Liu Wentong, the participating teacher of our university, won the second prize. Qian Xuefeng, Minister of Academic Affairs of ZUEL, delivered the closing speech, in which he expressed his gratitude to the contestants, expert judges and the units and individuals who had worked hard for the smooth organization of the event, and hoped that the spirit and achievements of the competition could be promoted.
The organization of this competition is a deep implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on education, which provides a platform for teachers of finance and economics colleges and universities to display, exchange and learn, and helps to further promote the construction of the curriculum and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
