Huang Ezhou, a 2003 alumnus of the Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management program.

In 2003, when the admission letter from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law arrived in Huang Ezhou's hands, it brought the greatest comfort and pride to his parents. At the same time, it marked the moment when he was finally about to leave the mountains behind.

Mathematics had always been Huang Ezhou's weak point, and calculus in his first year was as difficult as climbing a mountain for him. Fortunately, he encountered a great teacher who personally visited his dormitory multiple times to guide him. With the teacher's direct support, he was able to pass all the mathematics courses smoothly.

In order to escape the extreme poverty of the mountains, he knew that the only way out was through relentless study. During his university years, as he himself put it, his greatest gain was having access to an enormous and luxurious library. With the recommendations of his mentors, he delved into a wide range of books, reading an average of five books per week. His study notes filled six entire notebooks. This vast reading experience provided him with a rich source of creative ideas and an extensive knowledge base for his future work in brand management and marketing planning.

After graduating from university, Huang Ezhou's life hit rock bottom due to a career choice mistake. Through repeated setbacks and constant self-adjustment, he entered the fast-growing maternity, infant, and children's industry in 2011, a sector with an annual output value of nearly 4.5 trillion yuan. Starting from a bottom-level sales position, he persevered and climbed the ranks. Over the years, he held various roles, including Regional Manager and Regional Director at a Hong Kong-funded enterprise, Marketing Manager at a Sino-British joint venture, Sales Manager at a French company, Marketing Director at a Danish company, and General Manager of the Baby and Children's Division at a group company.

Whenever Huang Ezhou faced various setbacks, he would return to his alma mater and take a walk around campus. Reflecting on his entire student life, he would find renewed strength and courage to keep fighting. He often reminded himself, "You endured so much hardship and difficulty in your studies. You were able to come here from the poverty-stricken mountains despite facing the toughest college entrance examination in history. What else could possibly stop you from moving forward?"
