To celebrate the 113th International Working Women's Day and promote exchanges and communication among women, the volunteer service team of the School of Business Administration(SBA) Volunteer Association held Women's Day activities in the Beihuan Road community on 7th March. The event celebrates the achievements and progress of women and promotes intergenerational communication and understanding through the dissemination of Women's Day knowledge and the creation of handmade works.
Filled with love, the volunteers gathered with the aunts in the community to share the origin and development of Women's Day, which focused on the stories of great women such as Tu Youyou and Hua Chunying, showing the tenacious female strength and touching the hearts of every aunt.
The volunteers carefully introduced the use of twisting sticks, and personally demonstrated the weaving skills of Chinese knots, Chinese dragons, and rose bouquets. They experienced the fun and sense of accomplishment of handicraft in the process of making flower bouquets and other works.
The theme activities of Women's Day will help to arouse the attention and respect of the society for women's rights and interests, not only sending holiday blessings to the women but also expressing their admiration and admiration for the power of women.
