On 2nd January 2025, the School of Business Administration(SBA) held a faculty and staff meeting in the North Lecture Hall of the Wenhan Building. All faculty and staff attended the meeting.
Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SBA, began by delivering a warning education session on teachers' ethics and conduct. He reported several recent cases of misconduct in teachers' ethics, deeply analyzed the seriousness and harmful consequences of such violations and reminded everyone of the importance of maintaining the good image of the teaching profession. Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng also provided reminders regarding private overseas travel during the holidays and emphasized the need for all faculty and staff to standardize work processes.
Following this, Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, conveyed the key points of the latest personnel reform policy issued by the university. He first highlighted the importance and urgency of the reform, stating that its goals are to optimize the faculty structure, improve teaching quality, and enhance management efficiency. Professor Wu Haitao explained specific measures outlined in the policy, elaborating on their positive impact on the professional development of faculty and staff as well as the overall advancement of the school. He encouraged everyone to actively adapt to and support the reform, adopt the new system with an open mind, actively participate in the reform process, continuously improve their teaching and research capabilities, and contribute to the school's development.
