This semester, the Tourism Management Department of the School of Business Administration (SBA), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), focuses on "professional deepening, practice empowerment, and discipline upgrading", launched three featured activities: the international joint practice of Wuhan Citywalk, professional research at East Lake Forest Barbecue Site, and an in-depth study tour in Zigui, Yichang.
On 6th November 2025, led by Zhou Lingxu, students from Class 2301 and international students from Pakistan, Vietnam, Madagascar, etc., carried out Wuhan Citywalkas part of the innovative all-English course "Tourism Destination Management", applying professional knowledge in route planning and cross-cultural communication.
On 11th November 2025, guided by Li Minglong and Shu Boyang, the class conducted pre-opening research at East Lake Forest Barbecue Site, providing targeted optimization recommendations based on operational management and service quality control expertise.
From December 18th to 19th, 2025, led by Zhou Lingxu and Zou Rong, the Zigui study tour integrated cultural inheritance, industrial observation and professional practice. They visited Qu Yuan’s Hometown Cultural Tourism Zone, Three Gorges Migrants Museum, and the National E-Commerce Demonstration Base for "Zigui Navel Orange", where alumna Wang Yunxiang shared her entrepreneurial experiences.
Adhering to "practice-oriented education", the activities integrated theory with reality, enhancing students' professional application capabilities. The SBA will further deepen practical teaching reform to cultivate compound talents for the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry.
