On the evening of 6th January 2026, a New Year Concert sponsored by Aike Cable and organised by the Wuhan Alumni Association of the School of Business Administration (SBA), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, ZUEL), was held at the Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan. The event was designed as an annual cultural programme exclusively for registered alumni and faculty members, aiming to enhance alumni engagement through shared artistic experiences.
More than one hundred alumni and teachers from different graduating cohorts and professional backgrounds attended the concert. The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra delivered a high-quality performance featuring a selection of renowned classical works. With refined musical interpretation and strong expressive power, the orchestra created an immersive atmosphere that resonated deeply with the audience. The performance offered alumni an opportunity to reconnect with their academic memories while drawing inspiration from the vitality and depth of classical music.
The New Year Concert served not only as a cultural event but also as a platform for strengthening connections among alumni and between alumni and the University. It reflected the SBA Alumni Association’s ongoing commitment to fostering a cohesive and supportive alumni community, as well as promoting sustained interaction between the School, its graduates, and partner enterprises.
As an important link between alumni and their alma mater, the Alumni Association continues to uphold its mission of serving alumni, supporting the University’s development, and contributing to society. Looking ahead, the Association plans to organise a wider range of cultural and professional activities by leveraging the academic and social resources of the SBA. These initiatives aim to further enhance collaboration and mutual support among alumni, the School, and the broader community, contributing to the University’s high-quality development and the long-term growth of its alumni network.
The concert concluded with warm applause. Alumni participants expressed appreciation for the event’s organisation and artistic quality, noting that it strengthened their sense of belonging and reinforced their commitment to supporting the University and participating in future alumni initiatives.
