On 10th March 2026, School of Business Administration (SBA) held an expert demonstration meeting for the 2026 Undergraduate Talent Cultivation Program in Meeting Room 718, East Wing of Wenhan Building. The meeting aimed to further refine the positioning of undergraduate talent cultivation goals and optimize the curriculum system.Seven experts were invited to the meeting, including Professor Qing Ping, Vice President of Huazhong Agricultural University; Professor Long Lirong and Professor Tian Zhilong from Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Qin Jiao, General Manager of HUMANPOOL; Zhang Depei, Manager of Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation; Ding Xuebao, Partner and Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Huaxinxin Equity Investment Group; and Professor Xiong Shengxu from the SBA. Dean Wu Haitao, Vice Dean Hu Chuan, Vice Dean Xiong Wei, Vice Dean Dong Ciwei, and Yuan Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee attended the meeting alongside department heads and representatives from the International Accreditation Office and Undergraduate Teaching Office. The meeting was presided over by Dean Wu Haitao.
Dean Wu Haitao expressed his sincere gratitude to the experts and noted that the college's preliminary research on social demand and business talent cultivation is progressing in an orderly manner. He expressed hope that this demonstration meeting would further improve the cultivation goals and curriculum system.

Vice Dean Hu Chuan then introduced the basic status of the draft cultivation program, highlighting efforts to reduce total credits, increase practical teaching credits, and enhance digital courses.

During the session, various departments reported on their specific cultivation goals, curriculum structures, and unique features based on the "Four Orientations" and "Six Strengths" concepts.

The experts provided suggestions to implement "broad-based and solid foundation" goals, recommending the construction of digital intelligence knowledge modules and the implementation of classified student cultivation. They also suggested strengthening humanities literacy, such as communication leadership and critical thinking, and promoting a "dual mentor" system involving both academic and career planning mentors to leverage the alumni network.
The SBA will continue to improve the cultivation program based on these expert opinions to provide a strong guarantee for high-quality undergraduate talent cultivation.
