On 5th June 2025, the School of Business Administration (SBA) convened a Teaching Ethics and Conduct Warning Education Conference at the South Lecture Hall of Wenhan Building. Aimed at strengthening ideological defenses and enhancing responsibility, the conference integrated warning education with strategic development initiatives. Secretary Yu Xiaopeng presided over the meeting, with all members of the college leadership team and faculty in attendance.
Secretary Yu led all faculty members in carrying out the special study of "Carrying Forward the Spirit of Educators " and the warning education on teaching ethics and conduct. The college organized a collective viewing of the "Educator Spirit Journey · Most Beautiful Teachers" series special films, vividly interpreting the core of the educator spirit through the educational practices of advanced models, and inspiring all teachers to stick to the original intention of education. Combined with the "Ten Guidelines for Professional Conduct of College Teachers in the New Era", through in-depth analysis of typical cases in the education field and watching warning education films, it was emphasized that teaching ethics and conduct are the lifeline of teachers' careers. All faculty members were required to learn from these cases, practice "three virtues and three cultivations".
The meeting also deployed key development tasks of the college. Professor Wu, Dean and Director of the MBA Education Center, comprehensively arranged the college's recent key work, systematically combed the 2025 development goals and strategic paths, and deeply analyzed the current work progress by integrating core data such as scientific research projects, teaching staff, talent cultivation, and social services. Subsequently, Dean Wu Haitao elaborated on the college's disciplinary development strategy map, requiring the entire college to align with annual goals, enhance a sense of urgency, responsibility, and mission.
In addition, Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng made important arrangements for the systematic rectification of prominent issues in the university sector.Associate Dean Shi Junwei promulgated the 2025 Master Student High-Quality Enrollment Promotion Action Plan of the School of Business Administration at the meeting.
The conference achieved the dual promotion of warning education and career development. All faculty members of the SBA will take this opportunity to be guided by the spirit of educators, aim at the "double first-class" discipline construction goal, transform the achievements of systematic rectification and learning education into the driving force for overcoming difficulties, reshape business education in the era of artificial intelligence, and cultivate business newcomers.
