Organized by ZUEL's School of Business Administration, Peking University Press, and the Talent Development Professional Committee of Hubei Human Resources Society, the event gathered over 200 experts and scholars from 76 universities nationwide (including Peking University, Nanjing University, and Wuhan University) and 18 enterprises to explore development paths for HRM major construction and curriculum innovation in the digital-intelligent era.

During the opening ceremony, Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of ZUEL's SBA, highlighted the urgency of digital-intelligent transformation for HRM majors and ZUEL's plan to build a national teaching-research collaboration network.

ZUEL President Zhu Fangwei addressed challenges like theory-practice disconnect and teachers' insufficient digital capabilities, calling for university-enterprise collaboration to integrate AI into teaching while centering on "people".

Professor Long Lirong, President of Hubei Human Resources Society, addressed the ceremony, stating that the AI era presents both opportunities and challenges for the human resources field.

The National Digital-Intelligent Virtual Teaching and Research Office for HRM (Preparatory) was inaugurated at the symposium, jointly launched by experts from Nanjing University, ZUEL, etc.

Keynote reports covered topics such as "HRM Discipline Construction in the Digital-Intelligent Context" (Professor Zhao Shuming, Nanjing University) and "AI's Transformative Role in Teaching" (Jia Jiyou, Peking University). Industry elites from Peking University Press, Kingdee Software, and iFLYTEK shared insights on intelligent talent cultivation models.

During the symposium break, the attending experts and scholars collectively visited the Monetary and Financial History Museum of ZUEL.

The closing ceremony of the symposium was chaired by Professor Liu Wenxing, Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Human Resources Society and Director of the Department of Human Resource Management at ZUEL.

In his closing remarks, Professor Wang Haijiang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology noted that the symposium's outcomes will provide theoretical and practical guidance for national HRM major transformation.
