On July 6th, 2025, members of the Postgraduate Aesthetic Education Practice Group of the School of Business Administration, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, officially launched the "Postgraduate Summer Social Practice Research" under the leadership of instructor Xu Yiling. This practice interprets youth and responsibility from an aesthetic education perspective and records this "touchable and perceptible" aesthetic education practice journey through practice logs.
The smooth start of this practice owed to thorough preparations: On July 1st, the college held a launch ceremony with leaders offering guidance; team members received safety training and learned rural research tips; they signed the safety commitment and purchased accident insurance, building a "safety net."
On July 6th, the first team reached the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, which displays 317 generals from the Dabie Mountains. Inspired by the spirit, they realized the importance of responsibility ethics and cooperation. At the evening review, they planned to integrate youth responsibility into rural revitalization, conduct research, record courses, spread CSR concepts, and carry forward the spirit of serving the grassroots.
On July 7th, the next day, the Postgraduate Aesthetic Education Practice Group of SBA, ZUEL focused on rural research and field investigation, going deep into Tieshan Village Tea Garden and Qiliping Changsheng Street to explore practical paths for empowering rural revitalization.
The practice group first interviewed Tieshan Village cadres, who explained the tea garden's role in boosting employment and income and its difficulties in infrastructure and equipment. They then visited the tea garden, feeling the industrial impact. In the afternoon, they visited Qiliping Changsheng Street's former site, observing relics and learning about ancestors' efforts in economic development and serving the military and civilians under hardship.
On July 8th, the Postgraduate Aesthetic Education Practice Group of SBA,ZUEL launched its third - day practice in Hong'an. In the morning, the team returned to Dong Biwu's former residence to deepen the research and practice. In the afternoon, they conducted in - depth field research on the cultural and tourism industry system in Chenhe Village, exploring a vivid example of empowering rural revitalization through the "theory + practice" model.
After the day's research, the practice group held a summary meeting. The meeting sorted out the experiences and inspirations from Chenghe Village's development and clarified the tasks of further summarizing and improving practice results. Team members believe that Chenghe Village's success lies in "three integrations": integration of IP and industrial planning, integration of cultural tourism and characteristic agriculture, and integration of government guidance and market entities.
Leaving Chenghe Village, the group looked back at this vibrant land. They realized that as new-era youth, they must gain wisdom from practice, integrate professional insights with social responsibility, and contribute to rural revitalization through research and summary.
