On 4th September, the School of Business Administration (SBA) held its 2025 Fall Work Conference at the North Auditorium of Wenhan Building. The meeting was chaired by Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SBA, with the attendance of all members of the leadership team and faculty and staff of the school.
Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of the SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, focused on "Summarizing achievements and deploying tasks." He conveyed the spirit of the school’s fall work conference and delivered the school’s work report. Additionally, Dean Wu Haitao briefed the audience on the completion status of key development indicators for 2025.
Each school leader in charge of specific areas provided detailed explanations of their work, clearly outlining the "blueprints" for the new semester. This ensured the coordination and implementation of the work deployment.
In conclusion, Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng gave a summary speech, further conveying the spirit of the speech made by the Secretary of the Party Committee of the university Hou Zhenfa, at the university’s fall work conference.
The new semester also welcomed new faculty members. During the meeting, the four new faculty members were introduced to the entire staff: Xiao Cuixiang, former Minister of the Graduate School Office; Ge Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary, and Administrative Vice Dean; Professor Zhao Jun from the Department of Business Administration; and Dr. Liu Yuhua from the Department of Marketing Management. The leadership team presented them with welcome packages, and the entire audience warmly applauded their arrival.
The fall work conference laid a solid foundation for the smooth commencement of the new semester’s activities. It inspired the faculty and staff to unite and work together, shouldering responsibility with a strong sense of mission and contributing to the creation of a world-class business school with tangible achievements in high-quality development.
