On the morning of 15th September, 2025, the School of Business Administration (SBA) held the 2025-2026 International Accreditation Compliance Group Progress Meeting at Conference Room East 701, Wenhan Building. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Wu Yingna, with the attendance of Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of the SBA; Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the SBA; Professor Dong Ciwei, Vice Dean; as well as all members of the International Accreditation Compliance Group.
At the beginning, Dean Wu Haitao emphasized that international accreditation is a key task in the SBA’s development and a core indicator in the sixth round of subject evaluations. He highlighted the importance of accreditation in improving enrollment quality, expanding the school’s influence, and optimizing talent cultivation. He confirmed that the SBA will continue to support the international accreditation work and ensure its smooth progress.
Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng stated that international accreditation not only enhances the SBA’s international reputation but also contributes to the development of its business education brand. He recognized the progress made thus far and encouraged everyone to keep working hard and overcoming challenges to ensure the continued success of the accreditation efforts.
Associate Professor Wu Yingna outlined the specific tasks for the three major international accreditations: AMBA&BGA, AACSB, and EQUIS. She provided a clear division of responsibilities: the tasks for AMBA&BGA certification include updating the strategic plan and optimizing courses; for AACSB certification, the focus is on completing the self-assessment report by the end of this semester; and for EQUIS certification, the emphasis is on preparation and in-depth study.
During the discussion session, members of the International Accreditation Compliance Group reviewed and discussed their respective responsibilities, committing to complete their tasks on time and ensure coordinated progress across all areas.
Vice Dean Dong Ciwei concluded the meeting by stressing that international accreditation is a crucial lever for enhancing the SBA’s internationalization and academic competitiveness. He urged all faculty and staff to adhere strictly to accreditation standards and ensure high-quality completion of all tasks.
The meeting outlined the plan for advancing the SBA’s international accreditation efforts, laying a solid foundation for the successful implementation of future work. It has inspired the faculty and staff to work together with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, contributing to the goal of building a world-class business school.
