It guides students to develop practical marketing plans around Laohan Bianji’s health-oriented and youth-oriented brand strategies, aiming to enhance students’ professional practical capabilities and cultivate interdisciplinary marketing talents for the digital economy era.

On the morning of 12th October, the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) Campus Competition officially kicked off in Classroom 408 of Wentai Building. Associate Professor Yuan Chunping, Teacher Guo Maiju and Teacher Duan Shen from the Department of Marketing Management of the School of Business Administration (SBA) served as on-site judges. A total of 21 teams signed up for the competition from ZUEL, and 20 teams advanced to the defense session. Each participating team conducted in-depth analysis on brand concepts and product highlights, exploring new-track marketing strategies from youth-oriented IP design to healthy eating scenario development while integrating trends of the 400-billion-yuan fried chicken market. They fully applied professional knowledge to form creative and feasible solutions.

During the defense session, teams presented diverse marketing ideas such as "campus pop-up experience stores", "short video topic challenges" and "co-branded campus club activities" through PPT presentations and on-site explanations. Judges conducted comprehensive evaluations from dimensions including plan logic, brand alignment and implementation feasibility. While fully affirming students’ innovative thinking and practical abilities, they also put forward specific optimization suggestions.

After fierce competition, four teams won the First Prize, seven teams won the Second Prize and nine teams won the Third Prize. The First Prize teams will advance to the provincial semi-finals. This competition not only provided students with a practical marketing platform, effectively enhancing their organizational planning and teamwork skills, but also further deepened university-enterprise cooperation, realizing the educational goal of "promoting learning and application through competitions". With this, the campus preliminary competition concluded successfully, and students gave warm applause.
