To promote the normalization of labor education, cultivate the labor spirit of youth in the new era, and build a campus ecology of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law that integrates natural, harmonious and humanistic beauty, the Life and Rights Department of the Student Union of the School of Business Administration organized the November "Beautiful Campus Creation Campaign" on the morning of 23rd November. The activity was held at Shouyi Campus and Nanhu Campus respectively to conduct centralized cleaning of the areas under the school’s charge.
At 9 a.m. on 23rd November, volunteers gathered at the designated location on time. After checking the number of participants, the person in charge assigned tasks uniformly, explained the objectives, area division and operation standards of the cleaning campaign, and emphasized the safety precautions during the labor process. After the mobilization, volunteers were divided into preset groups and went to their respective responsible areas under the leadership of group leaders, quickly starting the cleaning campaign.
At the activity site, volunteers collaborated with clear division of labor and tacit coordination. Equipped with cleaning tools, they carried out a "carpet-like" cleaning of road garbage, white waste in green belts, cigarette butts, paper scraps and stubborn debris in wall gaps. The busy figures of volunteers shuttled between the campus boulevards and green belts, dedicated to creating a clean campus environment.
After three hours of cleaning, the environment of the areas under the SBA’s charge took on a new look: the roads were clean without debris, the green belts were lush with vitality, and the hygiene dead spots were completely eliminated, significantly improving the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the campus. At the end of the activity, volunteers returned the labor tools in an orderly manner, and members of the Life and Rights Department checked and counted the tools one by one to ensure they were in good condition before proper storage.
In this "Beautiful Campus Creation Campaign", volunteers beautified the campus with their hands and interpreted their responsibilities through actions, fully demonstrating the sense of responsibility and youthful demeanor of ZUEL students. The SBA will continue to carry out such labor practice activities regularly, promote the in-depth integration of labor education and campus construction, guide more students to grow through labor and achieve success through practice, so as to contribute youthful strength to building a more beautiful ZUEL.
