The Warm Sun Volunteer Service Team of the School of Business Administration’s Volunteer Association continues to explore and innovate, building a comprehensive volunteer service system for children. Through fun classrooms, interactive games, themed activities, and other diverse formats, the team brings warmth and joy to children.
Every two weeks, children's activities are held from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Jinheshan Youth Activity Center as scheduled. Volunteers assist the children in completing their homework, accompany them in play, and organize special themed activities such as fire safety, environmental protection, scientific exploration, health education, and artistic crafts. These activities help guide children to develop good study habits and enrich their extracurricular lives.
The "Circle of Love Little Home" activity also takes place on time. Volunteers work with teachers to organize baking, handicrafts, music, and other thematic courses. Through simple and pure care and love, the volunteers warm the hearts of pediatric blood disease patients, allowing them to move from the “hospital room” to the “classroom” and experience a world beyond illness.
At the Hubei Provincial Hearing Impaired Children's Rehabilitation Center, volunteers assist special children with rehabilitation training under the guidance of teachers. They regularly organize different themed activities, helping children learn more social rules and skills through artistic creation and educational games, thus better integrating into society.
Once a month, volunteers visit the Surgical Charity School at Wuhan Union Hospital. Focusing on themes such as plants and animals and environmental protection, volunteers expand children's knowledge and enrich their spiritual world through various activities like PPT presentations, craft-making, video screenings, and interactive games. These activities help alleviate the discomfort brought on by medical treatments.
