On 19th April, 2025, the signing ceremony for the industry-university-research base between the MBA Education Center of the School of Business Administration(SBA) at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL) and five Shenzhen companies was successfully held in the conference room of Shenzhen Donghua Group.
Attending the ceremony were Professor Du Peng, Vice Dean of the SBA and Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center, Mr. Wang Yanming, Head of Alumni Affairs at the MBA Education Center, as well as corporate representatives from the partnering enterprises. Together, they witnessed this important milestone in deepening school-enterprise cooperation and supporting the development of the Greater Bay Area.
Professor Du Peng first delivered a speech, emphasizing the strategic importance of Shenzhen in the school’s development blueprint. As the primary hub for alumni resources, Shenzhen is home to a vibrant community of MBA graduates, creating a distinctive regional talent advantage. His remarks underscored the school’s commitment to a practice-oriented educational philosophy and its role in serving the regional economy.
Representatives of the alumni enterprises expressed their strong expectations for the collaboration. They highlighted the unique advantages of Shenzhen’s location and resources, and expressed their willingness to support the school in expanding its MBA enrollment influence, strengthening connections between government and business sectors, and building a long-term strategic partnership with local authorities.
At the ceremony, Professor Du Peng, on behalf of the school, formally signed cooperation agreements with five companies across diverse fields, including culture, tourism, technology, and law. This collaboration represents a concrete step forward in the school’s efforts to enhance its industry-university-research presence in the Greater Bay Area.
The establishment of this base is a key initiative of the MBA Education Center to align with national development strategies and contribute to the construction of the Greater Bay Area. By leveraging academic expertise, alumni networks, and corporate platforms, the schoolaims to enhance the practicality, innovation, and regional relevance of MBA education—cultivating future business leaders with both global vision and local insight.
