From November 16 to 19, 2025, the AACSB Business Accreditation Seminar and AACSB Elevate: Asia Pacific were held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. Professor Xiong Wei, Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), Ms. Jiang Qianqian, Director of the Graduate Affairs Office, and Ms. Zhu Yanzhen of the International Affairs and Accreditation Office were invited to participate.

During the Business Accreditation Seminar held on November 16-17, Professor Barry Buraan from Bond University Australia and Professor Ross James from the University of Canterbury New Zealand served as keynote speakers. Based on numerous cases, the seminar systematically sorted out accreditation standards, clarified the concept of continuous improvement, and specified key points of initial accreditation—laying a theoretical and practical foundation for the SBA to grasp accreditation requirements and advance related work.

During the Elevate: Asia Pacific, the SBA representatives listened attentively, engaged actively, and had in-depth exchanges with peers from business schools in Australia, South Korea, Thailand, India and other countries. The innovative school-running paths and experiences in addressing AACSB accreditation difficulties shared by these peers not only provided practical examples for the school but also broadened its vision of educational innovation, accumulating valuable experience for tackling future accreditation challenges with higher standards.
