SBA Volunteer Association Holds Fire Safety Day Activity

The Volunteer Association of the School of Business Administration held a Fire Safety Day activity themed Eliminate Hidden Risks, Prevent Fires Before They Start on the square in front of Shouyi Auditorium on November 15th. Combining education with fun, the activity effectively popularized fire safety knowledge among students of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law through a series of interesting fire-themed games.



On the autumn afternoon, volunteers gathered early to move supplies, set up tents, hang posters and put up roll-up banners, waiting for students to arrive. Curious students stopped to ask questions, and volunteers enthusiastically introduced the activity content, explained the importance of fire safety in detail, and sincerely invited them to participate in the games, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere on site. Thanks to their promotion, a steady stream of students came to participate, enhancing the activity’s effect.



In the Emoji Guessing Game and Spot the Difference game, volunteers carefully guided students to solve various puzzles. By reasoning idioms related to fire, water and praising firefighters, students’ interest in learning fire safety knowledge was greatly stimulated, and they also realized the importance of preventing fires before they occur. When identifying fire hazards in pictures, they focused intently and found hidden safety risks one by one. A participating student exclaimed, I just realized that so many common small things could cause fires! It seems I really need to raise my fire safety awareness!



In the fire safety knowledge Q&A session, students scrambled to answer questions covering fire sign recognition, emergency response steps, the establishment of Fire Safety Day and the elimination of fire hazards. For relatively obscure knowledge, volunteers explained it to students, making various fire safety knowledge deeply rooted in everyone’s mind.



This Fire Safety Day themed activity integrated fire safety knowledge popularization into interactive games, which not only improved students’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, but also strengthened volunteers’ professional literacy. It is believed that through this activity, students can practice the concept of Everyone Talks About Safety, Fire Prevention is Valued Everywhere, thus contributing to building a safe campus and a safe society.
