沈阳，韩国汉阳大学助理教授，本科毕业于华盛顿大学，博士毕业于布朗大学。主要研究领域为：国际贸易、国际宏观、国际税收和经济地理。尤其是，对结构模型的理论和应用有深入研究。
内容简介：
This short course aims at introducing frontier research in the field of international trade, with a particular focus on structural models. The course starts with a discussion of the importance of modeling, using the empirical gravity equation and the structural gravity equation as an example for illustration. The course then proceeds with the introduction of a few workhorse models, all of which yield structural gravity equations. For each model, specific plans are: (i) present the model, paying attention to the economic and statistical assumptions of the model; (ii) derive the structural gravity equations; (iii) consider the general equilibrium properties of the equilibrium and quantify gains from trade; and (iv) discuss methods of structural estimation, and practice with Matlab.
