内容简介：
科研生涯的管理对于大学教师和研究生的专业发展至关重要。至于如何设定你的科研目标和管理你的科研计划，屈教授将就这一问题分享他30多年的科研经验。他信奉爱因斯坦的一句名言：“追求真理的权利同时也意味着义务；任何人都不容许隐满已被承认是真实的任何部份。”作为一名国际学术期刊的主编和几家国际权威学术期刊的编辑委员会成员，以及酒店和旅游管理方面的杰出研究者，屈教授将就如何在国际顶级期刊上发表论文分享他的经验和见解。
Managing research career is a vital professional development for university faculty and graduate students. Prof. Qu will share his 30 years research experiences on how to set your research goals and manage your research plan to advance your research career. He fully believes what Einstein said “The right to search for truth implies also a duty; one must not conceal any part of what one has recognized to be true.” Serving as the Editor-in-Chief and the member of several international refereed journals’ Editorial Boards and the top researcher in hospitality and tourism management, Prof. Qu will also share his experiences and some insights on Dos and Don’tss in publishing at top tier international journals.

讲座主题：“Trends and Development of Hospitality Industry and Service Sector”
内容简介：
When a country is transitioning to market economy, the service sector will be grown rapidly to meet previously unfulfilled demand and the needs of the emerging market. Growth of services in transition economy is particularly important and it helps make development more sustainable. As one of the service sectors, the major trends and development of hospitality industry will be presented and discussed and the rapid growth of demand and revolution of world service sector will be shared.
主讲人简介：
屈海林博士现是美国俄克拉何马州立大学 (Oklahoma State University) 酒店餐饮及旅游管理学院校董特聘终身正教授，博导，威廉.戴维斯杰出讲座教授,酒店旅游研究中心主任及博士研究生项目主任。他同时也是中国社科院旅游研究中心国际高级顾问,瑞士洛桑酒店管理学校(Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne Switzerland) 访问教授，香港大学管理学院访问教授，香港理工大学酒店及旅游管理学院访问讲座教授，香港理工大学管理学院访问教授，及复旦大学，中山大学，华南理工大学，北京第二外国语大学，上海师范大学的兼职或荣誉教授。屈海林博士分别在1992 和1989 年在美国普度大学 (Purdue University) 取得他的酒店及旅游管理学博士及硕士学位，并于1987 年在美国北亚力桑那大学 (Northern Arizona University) 酒店管理学院取得他的酒店管理学学士学位。
屈海林博士的主要科研领域是酒店旅游消费行为，品牌，形象和质量。屈海林博士在国际著名的酒店餐饮及旅游管理学术学科上发表了300 多篇学术论文。他同时发表了6 篇专著文章并是5 个国际会议专辑的编辑，8 个国际酒店餐饮及旅游管理学术学科的主编或编委。屈海林博士从政府，大学及酒店餐饮及旅游业取得了47 个科研项目基金或咨询项目总额超过500 万美金。屈海林博士并被邀请在57 个国际会议或知名大学作主题演讲。屈海林博士现是美国酒店及餐饮高等教育者协会，美国旅游研究协会，美国酒店协会，美国餐饮协会的会员并被邀请为世界酒店联盟荣誉常务理事和国际理事。他历任三届美国酒店及餐饮高等教育者协会论文评审委员会主席及论文主编。
屈海林博士于2012 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学校人文科学学院杰出职业奖(Outstanding Engagement Award)和美国年度研究生教育及研究会议创办人的学问创造终身贡献奖(Founder’ Award for Lifetime Contribution in Creation of Knowledge)；2011 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学功勋卓著教授奖(Eminent Faculty Award)；2010 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学校人文科学学院杰出研究生指导奖(Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor Award)；2009 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学校董事会的杰出教学奖(Regents Distinguished Teaching Award)；2008 年获得国际知名出版公司约翰.威利父子的终身研究成果奖(John Wiley & Sons Lifetime Research Award)，迈克尔.欧森(Michael D. Olsen)优秀研究成果奖,及美国普度大学CFS 学院杰出校友奖(CFS Distinguished Alumni Award)；2006 年被俄克拉何马州立大学校董事会授予校董特聘终身正教授荣誉(Regents Professor)；2005 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学校董事会的杰出科研奖(Regents Distinguished Research Award)及校长杰出领导及服务奖(President’s Leadership and Service Certificate of Excellence Award)；2004 年获得俄克拉何马州立大学校人文科学学院玛格丽特.斯克格斯优秀科研奖(Marguerite Scruggs Award for Meritorious Research)；并在1998 获得美国北亚力桑那大学百周年文学和艺术杰出校友奖(Centennial Year of Literature and the Arts Distinguished Alumni Award)。在2005 年四月期的国际学术学刊“旅游管理”(Tourism Management)发表的一篇论文中，屈海林博士被名列为全球第15 名旅游酒店杰出研究学者。
因为屈海林博士在酒店餐饮及旅游管理上的杰出贡献及成就，他的简历被收集发表在英国剑桥21 世纪杰出的知识分子名人录“Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century”,千年国际知名者名人录“International Man of the Millennium”,20 世纪成就奖名人录“20th Century Award for Achievement”。他的简历并被收集发表在世界名人录“Who’s Who in the World”,亚太名人录“Who’s Who in Asia and the Pacific Nations”,及美国名人录“Who’s who in America”。
