On November 12th, the 2022 Autumn Games came to an end at the New Stadium of Nanhu Campus, and was still full of exciting moments on the last day. The cool autumn could not reduce the passion of audiences and athletes at all. On the last day, the athletes from the SBA tried their best, achieving gratifying results one after another in the Games. In the end, the SBA took second place in the men’s group, second in the women’s group and second in the faculty and staff, with a total score of 445 and won the second place in the Games, bringing honor to the SBA!
400m Final
As the gun went off, the athletes started out and exerted the most effort to witness the glory at the finish line. On the men’s 400m final, Zhu Jijia, Gao Yongkang and Chen Junhao won third, fifth and eighth place respectively, demonstrating the SBA students’ drive to compete and strive.
On the women’s 400m final, the athletes challenged themselves, sweating and sprinting. At last, Jiang Jinli from the SBA won the seventh place.
Men’s 5,000m
Youth is meaningless without ambition. The 5,000m not only involves speed, but also endurance. With a gunshot, the athletes from the SBA rushed out of the starting line. They ran on the race track with fighting spirit and harvested brilliant youth. In the men’s 5,000m final, Chen Yue and Guo Jiacheng from the SBA won the sixth place and the eighth place respectively.
Women’s Triple Jump
In the women’s triple jump arena, athletes from the SBA tried their best and achieved impressive results. Among them, Feng Yuhe and Li Xin won fifth and sixth respectively. They took off and leaped lightly! This exhibited the youth’s presence of the SBA!
Football Shot
The rolling football is like the burning fire of youth. In the football shot competition, athletes from the SBA united as one and won the fourth place! They exuded their energy of youth on the football field!
Men’s Medicine Ball Backward Throw
The medicine ball draws a beautiful parabola from the air, leaving a wonderful trace on the field. It was a go-ahead effort by athletes from the SBA, and a result of several days of hard work. In the men’s medicine ball backward throw competition, Liu Yuheng and Abdullah won the fifth place and the seventh place respectively.
Men’s Triathlon
Triathlon is a comprehensive competition that requires physical strength, perseverance and skills. Chen Chengwei, a student from the SBA, took the lead and won the first place, highlighting the good demeanor of students from the SBA and embodying a higher, faster, stronger and more united spirit.
30×60m Head-on Relay Race
The little baton with strong power shows friendship, connection, and expectation. The SBA won second in the 30x60m head-on relay race.
Tug of War for Students
The loud slogan conveys courage and strength; the firm footprints represent struggle and hard work. With a burst of cheering and shouting, every student from the SBA did their best, and finally they won the fifth place in the tug-of-war competition.
Tug of War for Faculty and Staff
Stepping from the podium to the field, faculty and staff all became athletes, leading by example to show the strength of unity. They cooperated tacitly in the tug-of-war and reproduced their young presence in sports. At last, Faculty and staff from the SBA won the sixth place in the tug-of-war competition.
