Recently, through the active coordination of Xia Kai, Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Alumni Association and Secretary General of Zhong Nanshan Medical Foundation of Guangdong Province and distinguished alumnus of the SBA, three caring enterprises, Guangzhou Harley Commodity Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Biozone Technology Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Jileaf Biological Technology Co., Ltd, donated 100,000 N95 masks, 5 air disinfection and purification machines and 210 bottles of hand sanitizer respectively to support the SBA’s regular epidemic prevention and control.
The virus has no mercy, but there is love in the world. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, alumni from all over the country and people from all sectors of society have rallied to Wuhan, Hubei, to help the ZUEL and the SBA in epidemic control. Xia Kai, Deputy Secretary General of the Guangzhou Alumni Association and Secretary General of Zhong Nanshan Medical Foundation of Guangdong Province, is one of the key forces in this effort. In the early fight against the epidemic, the Guangzhou Alumni Association and Zhong Nanshan Medical Foundation of Guangdong Province donated a large amount of urgent medical supplies and equipment to ZUEL, which helped us to carry out epidemic prevention and control, fully demonstrating the generosity of the ZUELers and the benevolence of people from all sectors of society. Since the regular epidemic prevention and control, caring enterprises have been concerned about the safety of faculty and learners in the ZUEL and donated anti-epidemic supplies for regular epidemic control.
At present, epidemic control across the country is still severe, and the task of preventing import from outside and rebound from inside remains arduous. But we firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, the whole nation will win the battle against the epidemic with one heart and one mind. With the strong support and joint efforts of alumni and caring enterprises from all walks of life, and under the correct leadership of the Party Committee of ZUEL, the SBA will strictly follow the superior requirements, carry forward the great anti-epidemic spirit, unite the strength of faculty and learners, gather the same heart to fight against the epidemic, and form the concentric circle to protect the lives and health of faculty and learners in the SBA.
