The Committee of Research Fund of Anzijie International Trade Research recently has announced the winners of the 22nd Anzijie International Trade Research Award, three of which are faculties of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Qian Xuefeng, the professor of School of Business Administration, was conferred the second prize of Outstanding Works for his work Firm-level Trade Theory and Empirical Analysis. It was for the sixth time that he won the Award after victories in previous four sessions.
Established in 1991 by the late Hongkong industrialist AN Zijie, the Anzijie International Trade Research Award is considered as the highest academic award in China’s economic and trade field. It has been recognized as a ministry-level award by the Ministry of Education, and exerted a great influence at home and abroad. The selection process of this year was officially launched in April 2022, with renowned experts in the fields of international trade, international law and international business at home and abroad invited to be judges. After the procedures of correspondence review, conference review and public announcement of the selection results, nine excellent books were finally determined as Outstanding Works, among which the first prize was vacant and three Outstanding Works were awarded the second prize. There are 28 Outstanding Papers with the first prize vacant, including 6 second place prizes, 22 third place prizes, and 7 incentive prizes.
