On 3rd September, more than 600 undergraduates of Class 2023 from the School of Business Administration (SBA) from all over the country came to Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) with their expectations and aspirations for university life. All the staff and volunteers of SBA greeted the new students with full enthusiasm.
At 7:00 a.m., new students and their parents arrived at Shouyi Campus. SBA has equipped each new student with a welcome volunteer to carry out the welcome service and guidance work.
At about 11:00 a.m., Hou Zhenfa, Secretary of the Party Committee of ZUEL, Yang Canming, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of ZUEL, and other leaders visited the orientation site to warmly welcome the arrival of the new undergraduates of the class of 2023, send sincere greetings to the new students and their parents, and have a cordial conversation with the new students and their parents.
At about 3:00 p.m., Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, Zheng Jiaxi, Vice Dean of SBA, Hu Chuan, Vice Dean of SBA, Li Fang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deng Aimin, Director of the Department of Tourism Management, Deng Yuanjian, Director of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, Du Peng, Director of the Department of Marketing Management, Wu Yingna, Director of the Department of Economics and Trade, Mao Jianghua, Director of the Department of Business Administration, Yu Sheng, Party Secretary of the Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Mr. Xing Zhijie, Teacher of the Department of Human Resource Management, along with the Counselors and teachers went into the dormitory together to welcome and engage in conversations with the 2023 undergraduate students.
The whole orientation work lasted until 6:00 p.m., and most of the new students had completed the process related to enrollment and registration. SBA will also carry out new student education around the themes of professional guidance, safety education, class construction, party history, ZUEL history and mental health to help the new students set sail on their educational journey.
