On June 16th, 2024, the 2nd SBA New Quality Productive Forces, co-sponsored by the Alumni Association of School of Business Administration (SBA) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) and Suzhou Alumni Association of ZUEL, and hosted by Wuzhong Management Committee of Suzhou Taihu New City, was successfully held in Suzhou Bay Center Square. The event aims to promote the gathering of alumni resources, help alumni real enterprises to transform their New Quality Productive Forces,, promote the high-quality development of industrial economy, and at the same time, pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the College and the 30th anniversary of MBA education.
Lin Yijun, Deputy Director of Suzhou Taihu New City Wuzhong District Administrative Committee, Zhu Jianjun, president of Suzhou Alumni Association of ZUEL, Wu Haitao, dean of SBA and director of the MBA Education Center of ZUEL, Shi Junwei, vice dean of SBA, Liang Changdong, director of the Department of Alumni and Social Cooperation, Wan Hua, deputy director of the Department of Business Administration, and Wang Yanming, director of the alumni work of the MBA Education Center, attended the roadshow event. Wang Yanming attended the roadshow. In addition, many alumni from Shenzhen, Wuhan, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places as well as Suzhou locally attended the roadshow.
The roadshow officially started at 2:00 pm. The event was hosted by Lu Dan, Secretary General of Suzhou Alumni Association of ZUEL and alumnus of Class 2000 majoring in International Trade. Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, firstly delivered a welcome speech. The organizer of this event, Lin Yijun, Deputy Director of Suzhou Taihu New City Wuzhong District Administrative Committee, and director of Party and Government Office, welcomed all the guests to Taihu New City. Mr. Zhu Jianjun, President of Suzhou Alumni Association of ZUEL, delivered a speech on behalf of Suzhou alumni. The expert judges from many professional investment organizations made sharp and pertinent comments on the projects and provided valuable suggestions and guidance for the participating projects.
Finally, Prof. Shi Junwei, vice dean of SBA, some expert judges and leaders of the co-organizers awarded the certificates to the winning projects.
