Ms. Tan Zhi, class advisor for Economics and Trade 2301, conducted a seminar on responsible management on the evening of May 26th, 2024, in classroom 201 of Wenze Building. The session, themed 'Elevating Trade,' was presided over by class monitor Jiang Yuqi and was attended by all students of the Economics and Trade 2301 class.
Ms. Tan Zhi pointed out that we are building a trade pattern that is dominated by the domestic macro-cycle and mutually reinforced by the domestic and international double-cycle. After that, Ms. Tan Zhi explained the concept of GDP in detail to the students, as well as the great changes that we are facing which have not been seen in a hundred years. Through the teacher's explanation, the students understood the necessity and urgency of developing a double-cycle pattern.
After this, Ms. Tan Zhi explained the reasons for building a strong trade country. The teacher emphasized that building a strong trade country is a proactive response to the great changes the world has not seen in a century. Today's international situation continues to evolve, unilateralism, protectionism, economic globalization suffered a countercurrent, which requires us to prepare for rainy days, and actively adjust the pattern of development to cope with a century of change. Finally, Ms. Tan Zhi pointed out that building a strong trade country is a pragmatic measure to promote the building of a community of human destiny.
Ms. Tan Zhi pointed out that innovation is the source of development and we need to optimize the industrial structure and promote industrial upgrading. Ms. Tan Zhi took Jiangsu Baoshi Technology (China) Co., Ltd. as an example to illustrate the importance of technological innovation and industrial upgrading. Finally, Ms. Tan Zhi pointed out that building a strong trading nation also requires deepening international cooperation, improving risk control capabilities and optimizing the business environment.
