In order to further strengthen the contact with alumni, Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Business Administration (SBA), Liang Changdong, Director of the Social Service and Alumni Service Office, Li Shangnan and Yang Siqi, representatives from the School Office, as well as Liang Zhihui, Professor of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, travelled to Nanning and Liuzhou in Guangxi Province, from June 25th to 28th, to have in-depth discussions and exchanges with the alumni in these two places.
Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng held the first alumni seminar in Nanning on 26th June and the second one in Liuzhou on 27th June, with more than 20 alumni in attendance and strong support from the Guangxi Alumni Association. During the symposium, the school's leaders and teachers had a cordial exchange with the local alumni. Firstly, Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng expressed his gratitude to the alumni for their long-term support and concern. Noting that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the school and the 30th anniversary of MBA education, he highlighted the background and significance of the theme of the school anniversary, Seeking Common Goals, Creating Common Prosperity, Working with One Heart and Walking with One Mind, and invited the alumni to return to their alma mater to celebrate together in October.
During the symposium, the alumni recalled the challenging and growth-filled days spent at their alma mater, and felt proud and honoured by the achievements of the school. The alumni pledged to live up to the high expectations of their alma mater, to continue the spirit of the school and to participate enthusiastically in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the school and the 30th anniversary of MBA education.
