21st August 2024, the Russian Youth Group of Generation Z, composed of outstanding youth from relevant universities all over Russia, visited our university to exchange culture with teachers and students of our university and to visit the Beautiful Zhongnan National Unity Education Studio. Provincial leaders, university leaders, school leaders, and representatives of young teachers and students participated in this activity.
The Russian Youth Group of Generation Z visited “The Silk Road Cultural Experience Hall”, and enjoyed the works of the students of China Western Cave Art Inheritance Center and Chinese National Handicrafts.
Then the young students of Beautiful Cave Art Team invited the Russian youth to paint underglaze colors together.
The Russian youths tried to pick up the brushes and tools and paint on the ceramic pots, reflecting their respect and love for Chinese culture.
In the process of painting, Chinese and Russian youths exchanged ideas and shared their cultural background and artistic concepts.
Finally, the Chinese and Russian teachers and students held a symposium on “Hand in Hand, Creating the Future Together”. The symposium was hosted by Wu Zhangfan, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Foreign Languages.
Chinese and Russian youth actively exchanged ideas, our student Li Qianming and other students shared their experience of studying in Russia and advocated cultural mutual understanding; Russian student Yegor and other students advocated understanding and cooperation, and looked forward to spiritual communication. Associate Professor Liu Zao said that this symposium witnessed the in-depth dialog between the youth of the two countries, and was a celebration of the 75th anniversary of Sino-Russian diplomatic relations.
On the occasion of celebrating the 75th anniversary of Sino-Russian diplomatic relations, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL) successfully held the exchange activity of the Russian Youth Group of Generation Z, which demonstrated the deep friendship between the youth of China and Russia as well as their great expectations for the future cooperation and common development.
The Beautiful Zhongnan National Unity Education Studio of ZUEL was officially opened in December 2018, which takes the cultivation of newcomers of the times with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physicality, aesthetics and labor as the goal of its work.
