In order to do a good job in preparing for the 75th anniversary of School of Business Administration (SBA), on the afternoon of August 31, SBA held the first Responsible Management Education Conference of the new semester in the newly relocated office building, Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, Yu Xiaopeng, the Secretary of SBA, led several leaders of SBA and more than 40 representatives of the alumni from the Hubei region to get together to discuss the future development of SBA. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Shi Junwei.
At the meeting, Dean Wu Haitao, on behalf of all the teachers and staff of SBA, welcomed the alumni representatives to go home and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the alumni for their long-term care and support for SBA. He pointed out that on the first day of the new semester to invite alumni to meet, mainly for three considerations: First, SBA moved to a new home, to invite alumni to go home to see the new appearance of the alma mater; The college has achieved remarkable results this year in talent recruitment, the development of Double First-Class disciplines, and talent cultivation. Particularly exciting is the fact that the college has secured thirteen National Natural Science Foundation projects this year, setting a new record; Third, SBA is preparing for the 75th anniversary celebration matters, and we sincerely invite all alumni to actively participate in it, and look forward to advising and donating for the construction and development of SBA.
MBA 2015 alumnus Xu Hongwei introduced his work and achievements after graduation, thanked his alma mater for its cultivation, support and care, and was always proud of SBA.
Alumni such as Guo Lei, HRM Class of 86, Qin Jiao, MBA Class of 2014, Cao Maolong, MBA Class of 2015, Yu Huafeng, MBA Class of 2004, Zhang Depei, MBA Class of 2002, and Dai Jinzhou, MBA Class of 2019, made speeches and gave advice on the alumni activities, the preparation of the celebration of SBA's anniversary, and the raising of funds.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Yu Xiaopeng, the secretary of SBA, awarded the alumni representatives with commemorative badges for the anniversary of SBA. He emphasized that alumni work is a long-term, systematic project, which requires not only the continuous organization and promotion of the school, but also the active participation of all alumni. SBA will fully absorb and summarize the opinions and suggestions of all alumni representatives, and implement them into the development of SBA and alumni activities.
