On November 14, 2024, School of Business Administration (SBA) held a general faculty meeting and a warning education session in the South Lecture Hall of the Wenhan Building. The meeting was chaired by Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, and attended by all members of the leadership team and the entire faculty.
To strengthen educational efforts, Zhu Yanping, Deputy Secretary of SBA, organized a focused study of typical cases of disciplinary and legal violations within the university. She conducted case analyses to caution all faculty members to uphold professional ethics, abide by laws and regulations, and maintain the positive image of educators.
The conference also invited Jiang Hao, a senior fire safety instructor from the Wuhan Fire Safety Promotion and Training Center, to deliver a specialized lecture on fire safety. The lecture covered various topics, including fire prevention, emergency response to fires, proper use of firefighting equipment, and on-site drills. Through this education session, faculty and staff gained a deeper understanding of fire safety.
At the end of the conference, Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, provided a comprehensive summary of three major initiatives: the 75th anniversary of the School, the 30th anniversary of the MBA program, the undergraduate education and teaching review, and the AMBA & BGA joint reaccreditation. He also outlined SBA’ development strategy, recent work arrangements, and key tasks, including safety education.
