In response to the state's call to protect children in trouble and pay more attention to children with special needs, the School of Business Administration(SBA) Volunteer Association, together with the Brain Function Rehabilitation Department of Hubei Provincial Rehabilitation Center for Deaf Children, launched the International Day of Disabled Persons on 28th November at Shouyi to bring warmth and hope to their road to recovery.
On the sunny Shouyi Square, the children are arranged in an orderly line to open the interesting ring activities. After the looping activity, the children came to the Siyuan to carefully select the fallen leaves for the subsequent manual activities.
With volunteers in one hand and leaves in the other, the children happily went to the South Yard for leaf painting and vase decoration activities. The children's skillful hands turned the original plain vase into a masterpiece with unique charm.
On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the volunteers not only let the children enjoy the campus scenery and humanistic charm of the university but also made more students willing to understand and help this special group. At the same time, this activity has promoted the progress and development of special education.
