In response to the national call to expand care initiatives for children in need, the School of Business Administration(SBA) Volunteer Association, in collaboration with the Beijing Concentric Circle Charity Foundation, organized activities at the Huamai International Concentric Circle Charity Home in Jiangan District, Wuhan, on 7th November, 21st November 21, and 5th December.
At the large table in the center of the Love Small Family space, children participated in the regular block-building activity. Concentrating intently, they pieced together blocks one by one, transforming a chaotic pile into completed structures.
On one side of the room, some children joyfully danced along with videos, their movements full of energy and life. Volunteers accompanied the children throughout, offering strength and support through their actions, turning this small space into a stage filled with love and hope.
Meanwhile, another volunteer sat beside the children, gently strumming a guitar, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
The "Concentric Circle Love Small Family" activity not only alleviated the loneliness and fear in the hearts of children with leukemia but also inspired school students to embrace volunteer service. It embodied the spirit of volunteerism and called on social organizations to actively engage in similar public welfare initiatives.
