On the afternoon of 21st September 2024, the "School of Business Administration(SBA) Branch of Shenzhen Alumni Association of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL) Establishment and the SBA 75th Anniversary and MBA Education 30th Anniversary Homecoming Celebration Alumni Homecoming Event Launch Conference" was grandly held in Nanshan District, Shenzhen.
Professor Xu Diyu, Vice President of ZUEL, Da Ning, Director of the Department of Alumni Affairs and Social Cooperation, Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, Professor Wen Hao, Vice Dean of SBA and Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center, Professor Shi Junwei, Vice Dean of SBA, Professor Du Peng, Director of the Department of Marketing Management and Academic Director of the MBA Education Center, and others attended the conference. More than 260 alumni representatives, including EMBA, MBA, undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral graduates, participated in the conference.
Xu Diyu, Vice President of ZUEL, emphasized that "Alumni" are increasingly becoming an indispensable support force in the construction of universities. Shenzhen alumni from the SBA are outstanding representatives of the alumni group.
Wu Yudong, Secretary General of the Shenzhen Alumni Association of ZUEL, sincerely hopes that the establishment of the SBA Branch will achieve remarkable results.
Da Ning, Director of the Department of Alumni Affairs and Social Cooperation and Secretary General of the Alumni Association read out the documents regarding the establishment of the SBA Branch and the appointment of its directors.
Afterward, Li Xinjun, the rotating President of the Shenzhen Alumni Association of ZUEL, presented flags and appointment letters to Dai Jinzhou, the new President of the SBA Branch, and Guo Xiaole, the new Secretary General of the SBA Branch.
Dai Jinzhou, the first President of the SBA Branch, delivered an inaugural speech, stating that he would lead the branch members to actively engage in alumni services, support the development of their alma mater, and contribute to social welfare initiatives.
Professor Du Peng, Director of the Department of Marketing Management and Academic Director of the MBA Education Center, delivered a special lecture to the attendees.
Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, motivated the alumni to return to campus for the SBA 75th Anniversary Celebrations.
Professor Shi Junwei, Vice Dean of SBA, also extended an invitation to the alumni present.
The conference also specially invited Li Yong, Vice President of the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, to give a talk on "How to Better Integrate Cutting-edge Technology with Business Management."
During the gathering, Professor Zhang Guangzhong prepared a special gift for the Shenzhen Alumni Association—a plaque bearing the university's motto.
With this, the SBA Branch of the Shenzhen Alumni Association of ZUEL was officially established. The school will rely on the Alumni Association to build a warm and in-depth empowerment platform.
