On December 22, 2024, China Management Practice Innovation and Talent Development Forum under the Background of New Quality Productivity and the First Annual Meeting of China Management Practice Specialized Committee and Talent Cultivation Specialized Committee of Hubei Human Resource Society were successfully held in the South Lecture Hall of Wenhan Building on Nanhu Campus.
The forum gathered nearly 500 experts, scholars, business executives and elites in the field of human resources from 10 universities, including Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and more than 120 enterprises, such as the State Grid, Dongfeng Automobile, and Jingdong, etc., to discuss the innovation path of Chinese management practice and the development of talents under the background of the new quality of productivity. They discussed the innovative path of Chinese management practice and the strategic direction of talent development in the context of new quality productivity.
Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of School of Business Administration (SBA) and Director of MBA Education Center of ZUEL, delivered an opening speech to express his warm welcome to the guests. Afterwards, Lin Lie, Chairman of Wuhan Kaiyuan Xinneng Power Group, made a wonderful sharing with the theme of “Kaiyuan Xinneng - The Road of Manpower and Financial Resources Breaking the Cocoon into a Butterfly”. Du Jing, Professor of Wuhan University School of Economics and Management, shared with the theme of “AI-enabled Human Resource Management Exploration and Practice”. Many other guests shared some meaningful topics.
In the roundtable forum session, the guests agreed that driven by the new quality productivity, enterprises must continuously innovate management practices and optimize talent training mode to meet the requirements and challenges of the new era. A number of professors from our academy also took an active part in it, sharing the academy's latest research results and practical experience in the field of management, demonstrating the active role of the academy in promoting the cause of management practice and talent development in China.
