On the afternoon of March 31, 2024, the first New Quality Productivity Roadshow was held in Shenzhen Donghua Industry (Group) Co. The event was co-organized by the Alumni Association of the School of Business Administration (SBA) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), the Equity Investment Alumni Association of ZUEL, and the Shenzhen Alumni Association of ZUEL.
Wang Lei, Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen Donghua Industry (Group) Co., Ltd, Prof. Shi Junwei, Vice Dean of SBA of ZUEL, and Dai Jinzhou, Vice Dean of Alumni Association of SBA and alumnus of Class of 2012 of MBA of ZUEL, attended this roadshow activity. The event was hosted by Li Xiumei, an alumnus of MBA Class 2011.
Dai Jinzhou, vice president of SBA Alumni Association and alumnus of MBA Class 2012, delivered a welcome speech. Prof. Shi Junwei, Vice Dean of SBA, emphasized his hope that alumni can take this platform to strengthen communication and cooperation, and jointly help the development of SBA and alumni enterprises. The roadshow received a total of 20 projects from alumni, and after screening, 7 projects were finally submitted. The participating projects were rich in types and covered a wide range of industries, from new retail to artificial intelligence, from new intelligent power distribution to new car maintenance mode, which fully reflected the “three highs” of the new productivity, i.e., high-tech, high-efficiency, and high-quality.
Finally, after the judges' careful selection, the project “Intelligent Power Distribution System Based on Internet of Things Circuit Breaker” selected by Li Xiumei was favored by investors with its excellent creativity, groundbreaking results and market prospect, and won the Excellence Award of ZUEL of Commerce and Industry. Xu Pingli's project “Modular Assembly Integrated House” won the Most ESG Value Award by virtue of its creative concept of green environmental protection and natural harmony.
