On 20th December 2024, the seminar titled "Application of Artificial Intelligence to Empower the Digitalization of Business Schools," hosted by the School of Business Administration(SBA) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL) and co-organized by Beijing Chuangjing Digital Information Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in the East Conference Hall 718 of Wenhan Building, Nanhu Campus.
The forum invited leaders and faculty members from over ten economics management and business schools across Wuhan and other regions of the country. Additionally, industry experts from Zhipu, Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent delivered keynote speeches.
Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of the SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, gave a welcome speech. He analyzed the digital challenges faced by business schools and expressed hope that the participating teachers and corporate representatives would engage in fruitful discussions to further enhance the intelligence level of business schools.
Professor Hu Haibo, Dean of the SBA at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, delivered a keynote speech titled "Transformation and Upgrading of Business Schools under the Wave of Digital Intelligence: A Perspective Based on Generative AI." He shared insights into the application of generative AI in dozens of representative universities worldwide in the era of Education 4.0.
Professor Zou Bipan from the SBA shared his learning experience as a participant in Peking University's AI Empowered Teaching Training Class. His presentation, titled "The Practice of Generative AI in Business Teaching and Scientific Research," explored the practical applications of generative AI in business education and research.
Pan Li, Solutions Director at Beijing Chuangjing Digital Information Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Generative AI Combined with Information Systems to Achieve Digital Marketing and Admissions for Business Schools." He presented solutions on how AI can empower the marketing and admissions processes of business schools.
Professor Shen Fuke, Secretary General of the Information Governance Committee at East China Normal University, gave a keynote speech titled "The Overton Window for Promoting the Digital Transformation of Schools and Universities." From the perspective of an educator, he explored future education models with case studies from Minerva University and Alt School.
Experts from Zhipu, Huawei, Chuangjing, Alibaba, and Tencent also gave presentations, elaborating on the application scenarios of AI large models in the education sector, and highlighting their companies' strengths.
At the end of the seminar, Dean Wu Haitao emphasized the SBA's commitment to building a robust platform for school-enterprise collaboration, aiming to achieve the digital transformation of education, research, and management at the SBA of ZUEL.
