At 12:30 p.m. on March 13, 2025, the first responsible management course of the semester for the class of 2024 of the School of Business Administration was held in Room 311, Wenjin Building, Shouyi Campus. The session gathered all class and student organization leaders and was chaired by Grade Director Ms. Fan Mengyu. This meeting not only reviewed and summarized the work of the previous semester but also set clear directions and unified efforts for the semester ahead.
Ms. Fan Mengyu began by summarizing the previous semester’s work. In terms of collaboration efficiency, some class committees experienced unclear division of responsibilities, slow information flow, unfamiliarity with office software, and inconsistent participation in class activities. In terms of innovation, many tasks remained reactive, with little proactive initiative. As for balancing academics and responsibilities, some student leaders had unsatisfactory academic performance, with occasional course failures.
Looking ahead to the new semester, Ms. Fan outlined four key areas for student leaders to focus on: Strengthening academic atmosphere and solidifying professional foundations; Deepening branded activities to highlight the unique identity of SBA; Reinforcing safety awareness to safeguard students’ physical and mental well-being; Optimizing work methods to improve service efficiency.
Following that, Mr. Pan Junyi provided a detailed plan regarding campus anti-fraud efforts. The grade will launch a series of fraud prevention initiatives to help students better understand various scams and enhance their awareness and ability to prevent them.
Next, Ms. Fan Mengyu introduced the university-endorsed WPS office software to all student leaders. With its powerful functions, the software is expected to greatly enhance both academic and student administrative work. Practical tools such as online collaboration and data collection features were also recommended to help students improve their workflow and efficiency.
