The 2024 EMBA class at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law embarked on a spring cultural excursion on March 21, 2025, blending their academic pursuits with cultural exploration.
At 3:00 PM, right after classes, the students changed into their customized class uniforms and gathered in front of the Zhongnan Building. Thanks to the pre-coordination by student Zhu Xin, the group was able to assemble at the peak of cherry blossom season on Cherry Blossom Avenue. As they filmed a video with slogans, the traditional Chinese outfits stood out beautifully against the sea of cherry blossoms, catching the attention of passersby.
One international student asked, “Could we take a photo together?” This simple yet meaningful moment, with Chinese traditional attire alongside foreign faces, created another picturesque scene under the cherry trees. The EMBA students used this cultural exchange to convey Eastern aesthetics to the world, while also confidently embodying the modern charm of "Chinese style."
In front of the Marxism Institute, an EMBA student dressed in Hanfu was asked about his understanding of Sun Yat-sen's historical significance. Despite the unexpected "academic challenge," the student, Zhao, answered with poise, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. This interaction between business elites and young scholars symbolized the symphony of historical spirit and contemporary practice.
This spring outing allowed the 2024 EMBA students to elevate their academic journey into cultural heritage, embodying the philosophy of Zhongnan University’s EMBA program: cultivating high-level business talents with a dual focus on both professional and social responsibility, bridging finance, law, humanities, and technology.
