In the class session of the MBA Class of 2024, Ms. Feng Jiaojiao started the course with the philosophical classic “The Trolley Problem”, leading students on a profound journey into the realms of moral reasoning and ethical decision-making.
The course offered in-depth explorations of Bentham’s utilitarianism, Kant’s deontology, and other major ethical theories. Using a “Dark Personality Self-Test”as an entry point, Ms.Feng Jiaojiao guided students to reflect on the complexities of human nature and uncover the deeper logic behind ethical choices—where theoretical frameworks intersect with self-awareness.
This class served as a kind of intellectual wake-up call, encouraging experienced students to re-examine their inner moral compass. Through vivid case studies, well-structured theoretical models, and open dialogue, Ms.Feng Jiaojiao successfully combined abstract theory with real-world practice.
During the break, students with April birthdays received a warm surprise—a birthday celebration arranged by the class. After a morning of intense discussion on ethical dilemmas in corporate decision-making, everyone gathered to enjoy delicious food and exchange workplace insights in a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere.
Though the class has come to an end, the reflections it sparked continue to resonate, and students left the room with a sense of fulfillment. We hope these young professionals, who carry the code of business ethics, will one day build a solid bridge between profit and conscience with both wisdom and responsibility.
