On the evening of May 17th, the School of Business Administration (SBA) held its grand 2025 Graduation Gala under the theme “Youthful Business Rhythms, A Bright Journey Ahead.” The event was attended by Secretary Yu Xiaopeng, Associate Dean Shi Junwei, Deputy Secretaries Zhu Yanping and Nijati·Aimaiti, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management Liu Wenxing, along with faculty members from various departments, administrative staff, and all counselors.

The gala began with an energetic opening dance titled "AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST" performed by the DK Street Dance Club. Their vibrant and lively moves, paired with playful expressions, fully showcased the vigor and confidence of youth. With the melodious tune of “Ballad Across a Thousand Villages,” Ge Yun told a heartfelt story of growth through song, encouraging graduates to be light-chasers in their youth and brave adventurers in the journey ahead. The university dance troupe presented the dance drama “The Eternal Wave: New Arrivals,” which ingeniously blended historical wartime elements with contemporary dance, transporting the audience to a turbulent era and allowing them to experience the grandeur of a hidden yet heroic chapter of history.

In a fresh and humorous reinterpretation of a classic, members of the university broadcasting station delivered the cross-talk performance “Snow White.” Their witty dialogue and comedic timing had the audience laughing while reminiscing about childhood in a whole new way. Wu Yuhan and Zhang Jiaqi stunned the audience with a charismatic duet dance “Trouble Maker.” Their bold and dynamic moves matched the heartbeat-like rhythm, drawing waves of cheers from the crowd. “Stars are not far, dreams are not far, as long as you rise on your toes.” Chu Mengcheng’s soulful rendition of “Looking Up at the Stars” expressed hope for the future and inspired graduates to pursue their dreams with courage as they embark on a new journey.

The Art Troupe’s dance medley “Vitamins & Whiplash” was a vibrant fusion of strength and grace, combining multiple styles into a burst of youthful energy, elevating the atmosphere to another high point. During the intermission, hosts randomly selected postcards filled with heartfelt messages to share with the audience. The lucky students whose messages were read aloud also shared their emotions and blessings, filled with nostalgia and anticipation for the future. Wenmiao Pavilion Rap Club performed “The Long Season,” portraying the growth journey of youth through a unique rap style, encouraging all to find their own meaning in life’s long seasons. Graduation is not the end but the beginning of infinite possibilities. Long Siying’s song “The Sky Has No Limits” resonated with the emotions of farewell, reminding young graduates that “the sky has no limits, and neither does our future.”

The university dance troupe also performed “Dream of the Red Chamber: Garden Tour,” a graceful piece that brought classic Chinese literature to life through dance, vividly depicting the poetic charm of the Grand View Garden. Wen Yatao’s stand-up comedy “I Have a Friend” offered humorous insights into campus life with sharp wit and creative storytelling, leaving the audience in stitches. The broadcasting station’s stage play “The Greatest Showman” was a celebration of dreams and love. With touching vocals and joyful melodies, it led the audience into a magical world of wonder and hope.

Models from SBA's Art Troupe dazzled on the runway in the “Fashion Show,” dressed in a range of elegant to modern outfits. Under shifting lights, they displayed the unique charm of vibrant fashion and cultural fusion. Magician He Yifei’s act “Fate Begins at ZUEL” amazed the audience with sleight of hand and flying cards, as if unlocking a mystical box of memories. His performance wove youthful reminiscence with magical artistry into a warm and delightful visual feast. Students He Junyao, Feng Zhishen, Chen Yuqi, Wang Yu, Hu Ke, Wang Yilang, and Zeng Fangjie performed two classic songs: “Heart Like a Tide” and “Love, the Captive.” One dynamic, the other tender—their music stirred deep emotions in every listener.

As the familiar melody of “The First Day” echoed through the hall, the Vocal Ensemble of the Art Troupe led everyone in reliving the memories of their early days on campus. The gala drew to a perfect close with a heartfelt chorus by the entire graduating class.
