SBA Held The First "Hubei Artificial Intelligence + Business Education Integration Development Symposium"

On 7th June 2025, the first "Hubei Artificial Intelligence + Business Education Integration Development Symposium" themed "Transformation and Reshaping of Digital Intelligence Business Education in the AI Era" was successfully held in Conference Room East 718 of Wenhan Building, School of Business Administration (SBA), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL). The symposium was co-hosted by the Joint Conference of Economic and Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers in Hubei Higher Education Institutions and the Innovation Alliance for Economic and Management Practical Teaching in Private Colleges (Independent Colleges) of Hubei, undertaken by SBA of ZUEL, and co-organized by Beijing Zhongyun Guochuang Data Technology.Leaders and faculty members of SBA, ZUEL, as well as over 80 deans of schools, directors, program heads, and frontline teachers from across the country attended the symposium.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dong Ciwei, Associate Dean of SBA, ZUEL. Professor Chen Xinwufrom Hubei University of Economics; Professor Bai Yuehua, Associate Dean of the School of Management at Donghu University (representing Dean Hu Liubo); and Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, ZUEL, delivered speeches respectively.


In his speech, Professor Chen pointed out that artificial intelligence is currently leading scientific and technological revolutions and industrial transformations with unprecedented power.Professor Bai emphasized that private colleges should enhance the digital teaching capabilities offaculty through industry-education integration and scenario-driven approaches. Professor Wu detailed the school's overview and important measures taken in recent years for digital intelligence transformation and talent cultivation in his speech.

In the theme lecture session, Professor DongCiwei first shared on the topic of "Countermeasures for Business Discipline Transformation in the Digital Era". He analyzed the subversive impact of current digitization on traditional business education models, pointing out that the digital transformation of education requires starting from multiple dimensions such as updating educational concepts, enhancing teachers' digital capabilities.

Mr. Wang Yimin, General Manager of Beijing Zhongyun Guochuang Data Technology, then delivered a lecture entitled "AIGC Technology + New Paradigm for Business Talent Cultivation". He elaborated in detail on the extensive applications of AIGC technology in the education sector.

Associate Professor Wang Tian fromSBA,analyzed the urgency of innovating the new direction of Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application and Management) in his lecture entitled "Professional Innovation and Exploration of Digital-Intelligent Talent Cultivation in the AI Era". From the perspectives of the era background, market demand, and national strategy, he elaborated on the necessity of developing this new major.

The afternoon session of the symposium included 2 lectures. Professor Ku Bo, an expert from the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, took the general education course "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" as an example to vividly explain how to enhance students' technical literacy and humanistic care through general education. Mr. Pei Haiqin, Product Director of Beijing Zhongyun Guochuang Data Technology,introduced the practical applications of AIGC technology in detail through multiple real-world cases.

The symposium attracted leaders and faculty from multiple universities within and outside the province. The successful holding of the conference has provided valuable experience and effective approaches for the innovative development of business education in Hubei Province and even nationwide.
