On May 26th at 2:00 PM, the practical teaching session of the postgraduate course Series Lectures on Theory and Practice taught by Professor Ying Bin from the School of Business Administration (SBA) led students to visit the Mabanglong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd Industrial Park for on-site investigation and interviews. Teacher Xiang Diandian from the Department of Marketing Management also participated.
Upon entering the park, the enterprise commentator introduced MabanglongPharma Group's development journey from its establishment to Wuhan No. 3 Pharmaceutical Factory and current operations, highlighting honors like "Chinese Time-honored Brand" and "Chinese Well-known Trademark" to showcase its historical heritage and industry status. The commentator also explained the company's inheritance of classic formulas and innovative development to meet market demands, along with its "Three Dimensions and Three Forces" model guiding layouts in customer operation, policy management, and human resources.
In the professional achievements exhibition area, Mabanglong 's continuous investment in anorectal research and its achievements in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment were presented. The company's implementation of a big health strategy was highlighted, with its product matrix expanding from anorectal drugs to diversified categories like eye care and skin care products.
After the visit, students divided into four groups (focused on brand strategy, strategic transformation, ESG, and digital transformation) conducted in-depth interviews with enterprise personnel. Students posed professional questions, and managers responded with practical insights, fostering intellectual exchanges.
At the end, teachers and students visited the smart toilet experience area to experience intelligent facilities and human-centered design, feeling Mabanglong's innovative applications in the health field.This activity enabled students to break free from textbook limitations, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience, and gain a clearer understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's development. The course will continue to uphold the theory-practice integration concept, organizing more practical activities to cultivate talented professionals.
