On the morning of 12th July 2025, the second on-site session of the 2025 Summer Internship for Human Resource Management (HRM) students, organized by Wuhan Wenquan Zhigu Education Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at Wenhan Building, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL). The event featured an online session by Ms. Liu Yingting, Recruitment Manager at Tencent, who shared insights on resume writing and talent selection. Mr. Hu Hongwei, a National Model Worker and recipient of the “Most Beautiful Worker” award, delivered an inspiring in-person talk on high-voltage live-line operations. The session provided students with practical guidance and valuable inspiration for career planning and professional development. Professors Zhao Chenhui and Lu Liang, who led the internship program, were present to offer on-site support and instruction.
Liu Yingting, Recruitment Manager at Tencent, joined online to share expert advice on resume writing and talent selection. She emphasized tailoring applications to specific roles, highlighting experience with quantifiable achievements, and aligning content with job requirements. Liu also noted that AI-based resume screening has become a rising trend, encouraging students to adapt accordingly. Her talk was well received by participants for its practical relevance.
In the second session, Hu Hongwei—National Labor Model and nominee for “Craftsman of the Nation 2023”—shared his experiences from over two decades in high-voltage live-line operations.
A veteran and team leader at the State Grid Hubei Extra High Voltage Transmission Company, Hu recounted his early military training and the determination that shaped his professional journey.
He played a pioneering role in the world’s first ±800kV live-line operation in 2009 and led the successful execution of 1000kV helicopter-based maintenance in 2014.
Through vivid visuals and real-case footage, Hu introduced students to the technical complexity and physical demands of power transmission work, underscoring the values of perseverance and innovation. His presentation also highlighted the evolution of the sector through modern technologies like drones and helicopters, inspiring students to align their ambitions with societal needs.
By integrating corporate best practices with the spirit of craftsmanship, the SBA continues to bridge academic training and real-world applications, equipping students with both direction and confidence for their future careers.
