SBA Successfully Conducted the Eighth Session of “Responsible Management Class with Mentors”

On the afternoon of 9th October, the School of Business Administration (SBA) held the eighth session of the “Responsible Management Class with Mentors” and the 2025 Postgraduate Academic Integrity Seminar at the Wenhan Building Auditorium. Professor Wang Shuhong, from the Department of Human Resource Management, delivered a themed lecture on “Career Path Exploration for Postgraduate Students in the New Era” to over 400 new postgraduate students. The event was hosted by postgraduate counselor Xu Yiling, with leadership attendance from Vice Dean Professor Xiong Wei and Deputy Party Secretary Professor Ge Ming.

Phase One: Career Planning and Academic Growth


Professor Wang Shuhong began by discussing the pursuit of happiness as the ultimate goal of individuals, guiding students on how to define career goals and formulate development plans. She emphasized the importance of cultivating independence and innovation during the postgraduate phase and offered three key suggestions.

Phase Two: 2025 Postgraduate Orientation


Following the first session, Library staff member Wang Xiao, postgraduate counselors Jiang Qianqian and Zhao Yuanyuan gave specialized talks.


Wang Xiao introduced how to effectively use library resources, helping students enhance their research skills.

Jiang Qianqian elaborated on the entire postgraduate development process, stressing the importance of research training and thesis writing.

Zhao Yuanyuan presented the university’s daily management policies and recommended that students make full use of the university’s psychological counseling and career services to improve their emotional regulation.
