On 16th March 2026, Zhu Fangwei, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, visited the School of Business Administration (SBA) and presided over its Key Work Dialogue Meeting. Zhang Qi, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President, and Wan Silu, Deputy Director of the Policy Research and Rule of Law Office, accompanied the research. The leading team of the SBA and persons-in-charge of all its departments attended the forum.
Dean Wu Haitao, also the Director of the MBA Education Center, reported on the SBA’s key work on behalf of the college, including the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the comprehensive reform plan and the 2026 objectives and tasks. After listening to the report, President Zhu Fangwei pointed out that 2026 is the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. Centering on the university’s goal of building a "Double First-Class" university, the SBA must recognize the situation, raise its standing and make overall plans. Taking the comprehensive reform as a starting point, the college should break development bottlenecks, stimulate endogenous motivation and release reform vitality. He put forward three requirements: first, clarify goals and straighten out reform ideas by adhering to Party building guidance and aligning with national strategies; second, make scientific decisions and highlight the SBA’s contributions by consolidating disciplinary advantages and advancing high-quality and differentiated disciplinary development; third, promote implementation and establish a correct view of achievements, focusing on moral education for students, adhering to the student-centered concept and improving talent service mechanisms.
Going forward, the SBA will take this research guidance as an opportunity, follow the university’s overall deployment of the 15th Five-Year Plan, focus on core tasks and implement them firmly. It will translate the research results into concrete actions for high-quality development, strive to elevate all work to a new level and make greater contributions to the university’s high-quality development.
