Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) School of Business Administration (SBA) joined hands with the Logistics Support Department to organize an experiential learning class at Wanghu Garden Canteen on the afternoon of 2nd April 2026. The activity was hosted by Teacher Zou Rong for her Food and Culture course, aiming to deepen curriculum-based education and carry forward traditional Chinese culture.

Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Business Administration, attended the event and delivered a speech. He pointed out that hands-on experience is the most effective form of education. Making green rice balls helps students better understand festival food culture, cultivate gratitude for labor and teamwork spirit, and pass on fine traditional culture.

Guided by chefs from the Logistics Support Department, about 70 undergraduates and international students from different schools of ZUEL took part in making green rice balls. They learned the production techniques and cultural origin of this traditional food, and tasted the fruits of their labor. Students said the activity deepened their understanding of the course content and brought them vivid cultural and labor experiences.

This activity is an important cooperative attempt between the SBA and the Logistics Support Department in teaching and education practice. It enriches the teaching form of the Food and Culture course and provides a platform for students to experience traditional culture and conduct labor practice. The SBA will continue to integrate campus resources and launch more diverse and life-oriented experiential learning activities to promote students' all-round development.
