The 5th National College Students Public Administration Decision-Making Simulation Competition (Central China Division) concluded successfully in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province from 18th to 19th April 2026. Supported by professional guidance and joint efforts of the whole team, Yang Wenshan from Class 2301 Labour Relations of School of Business Administration (SBA), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) stood out from 54 teams of 50 universities in four provinces. The team won three important awards including the Special Prize of Central China Division, the Best Team Award and the Best Public Administration Plan Award, qualifying for the national finals.

This influential national event was guided by the Teaching Guidance Committee for Public Administration Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, organized by the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, co-organized by the Public Administration Professional Committee of the association, hosted by the School of Public Administration, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and technically supported by Shanghai Zhexun Information Technology Co., Ltd. It evaluated participants’ comprehensive capabilities in policy analysis, sand table confrontation, plan design and team defense.

During preparation, the School of Public Administration provided all-round guidance. Teachers Wang Yue and Cai Dawei from the Department of Urban Economic Management served as supervisors, and Han Tingyu assisted the team. The team was composed of Yang Wenshan, Yi Meiyi and Li Peizhou from SBA.
Integrating management thinking and decision-making optimization methods of business administration with public administration knowledge, SBA students gave full play to interdisciplinary advantages. Their rigorous logic, complete plans and excellent performance won high recognition from judges.



This cross-disciplinary achievement reflects the effectiveness of promoting learning and practice through competitions. The SBA will continue to build practical platforms, encourage interdisciplinary learning and competitions, and cultivate high-quality interdisciplinary talents for social development.
